BlueMissionMed Co-design Workshops: Defining the roadmap towards a healthy Mediterranean Sea by 2030

The 1st round of workshops to co-design the BlueMissionMed Operational Implementation Roadmap for the mitigation of marine pollution and contamination in the Mediterranean will take place 18-20 July 2023, 10:00-13:00 CEST, and will be an online event.

The aim of the workshops is to present and discuss with targeted stakeholders the outputs of the 1st BlueMissionMed Stakeholder Forum, organised as a side event in the context of the European Commission’s high-level event EU Mission ‘Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030’ – The Mediterranean lighthouse in action Palermo (30 May 2023), and to prioritize the challenges, needs and future supporting activities in order to achieve the Mediterranean basin Lighthouse objectives. Related industrial sectors will be addressed in three thematic workshops (agriculture/fisheries/aquaculture; plastic production/municipal solid waste/water management and treatment; maritime transportation/tourism sector).

Stakeholders from Policy, Business, Research & Innovation, Civil Society (NGOs) are welcome to join!
