Purpose of the Webinar
This cross-fertilization webinar was aimed at building stronger connections between the BlueMissionMed (BMM) project and the Interreg Euro-MED Programme. It aimed to align strategies and exchange practices between EU Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters and Interreg Euro-MED governance projects as well as Thematic Project, with a shared focus on sustainable water management, restoration, and depollution across the Mediterranean.

• Presentation of the EU Mission ‘Restore Our Ocean & Waters’ and the role of Mission Lighthouses (Loïc Blanchard, DG RTD)
• Showcase of BlueMissionMed (BMM): results, innovative solutions for water depollution, and support mechanisms for solution providers and seekers
• Overview of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme & its 4 Missions (Isabelle Nobio, JS Euro-MED)
• Focus on the ISE Mission: community engagement through ISEC Hub and future Policy Labs on sustainable water (D4I & C4I partners)
• Strategic synergy-building: open discussion with stakeholders and reactions from other Euro-MED Missions

Interactive Session and Synergies
The second part of the webinar was dedicated to a collaborative workshop involving Euro-MED Thematic Projects. Facilitated via an interactive Miró board, projects were invited to present their solutions and explore the possibility of inclusion in the BlueMissionMed Catalogue of Experts & Services. This activity aimed to increase visibility, encourage capitalization, and promote cross-programme learning. Representatives from other Euro-MED Missions participated as observers, gaining insight into concrete contributions to Mediterranean water management.
